Fiona trained at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and The Hammersmith Hospital, London and also in Oxford and Leeds. After time in Germany where she gained experience in running her own very successful gynaecology practice, Fiona went on to work as a Consultant in the Leeds University Hospitals.
She has provided professional and pastoral mentoring support to medical graduates and other health care professionals.
Fiona has wide experience of working with women and vulnerable young people from right across the social spectrum latterly in Wakefield and Castleford
She is married with two sons, keeps bees and dogs and cycles and runs for fun. She is an active member of All Saints’ Church, Ilkley where she is a lay minister.
